ARNOLD QUICK SALVERS
Frinton GC members played for the Arnold Quick Salvers on Sunday. The ever-popular event is a mixed foursomes, which was Mr Quick’s favourite format.

Mary Strutt and Wayne Ross won the trophies with 38 stableford points. Several pairs achieved 37 points but count back awarded second place to Yvonne and Steve Davies, and third to Angela and David Wood.

SATURDAY STABLEFORD
All Havers Course members were eligible to play in the stableford on Saturday. Kevin Neal came out on top with an amazing score of 46 points. Chris Taylor finished in second place with 43 points, and Captain John Harding placed third on count back with 42 points, just ahead of Martin Waters.

LADIES STABLEFORD
On perhaps one of the finest days of summer, Sheran Harding won the ladies stableford with a whopping 49 points. Her handicap came crashing down. Claire Vaughan’s 40 points earned her second place. Third went to Lynne Smith with a score of 37.
